I’m happy to announce that I’ve won my way into the semi-finals of Rockstar’s Beaterator Video Game contest!

The contest was a joint effort by Rockstar and MySpace and the participants were required to select one song off their artist profile that best suited them. I picked Cinematic Showdown and as it turns out, it must of impressed them!

Because I’m a semi-finalist I won a brand new PSP, copy of Beaterator, memory stick and USB cable. Not bad eh? Now I have a chance to win the finals by creating a new song using the video game and if I win I would get $5000 dollars, my song on the Playstation Network and the track as downloadable contest on the game itself! AWESOME!

I just submitted my song a few days ago and it turned out great! I will give you guys more details on the contest, as I’m pretty sure people have to vote for what track you want to win. For now though, I will say this: If I win, awesome! If not I will be giving out the song I wrote for the contest as a free single!

Cassie and I got together to shoot some pictures for the CD version of the Freedom EP! They turned out fantastic! I’ll post the whole session up shortly, but man I’m going to have a hard time picking out what we are going to use for the cover!

I really like the makeup we used towards the end. Hell, maybe this is how I’ll present myself during live shows! Nice job, Cass!

These commercials are also on the Street Fighter 2: Mastering Great Combinations & Strategies I picked up. Funny stuff, I actually had the tank that Guile rode in; as well as decent number of figures.

Hasbro what were smoking when you did these commercials??? I guess I can’t be too mean, I did get my parents to buy these when I was a kid.

On the very first special episode of Gamer Logic, we dig up a retro video game relic from the past! From the dark corners of a retro video game shop we found a old VHS video from 1993 for the Street Fighter 2 series called "Street Fighter 2: Mastering Great Combinations & Strategies."

This video features the 1993 Street Fighter 2 USA champion Tomo Ohira and one of the most annoying hosts I’ve ever seen. Marvel at the awesome combos that make up this video and cover your ears in horror as the characters of Street Fighter 2 are butchered with horrible voiceovers to introduce the characters.

Monday, October 26th is set for the iTunes release of the four track Freedom EP! This new release by Unleaded Logic features the return of talented vocalist Cassie Nelson on the title track.
