So tomorrow is a big night for professional wrestling. Hulk Hogan is making his big return to wrestling with Total Nonstop Action and Bret " The Hitman" Hart is making a return to World Wrestling Entertainment. Something that no one would ever expect to happen considering the Montreal Screw Job incident, but alas Bret will be the Raw guest host tomorrow night.
The fact that both TNA and WWE will be airing at the same time tomorrow night brings back memories of the Monday Night Wars, back when each show was trying to top each other. A organization is once again challenging WWE with Hulk Hogan as its weapon, but do any of us really care about the Hulk this time?
I certainly don’t, The Hitman has a lot more appeal to him.
In fact, I’m more excited that Eric Bishoff has joined the company and look forward to his many ideas he can bring to the company. Eric may not help TNA beat WWE, but he will it least keep it breathing for a few more years.
I could go on and on about the whole deal, but I’ll keep it short and just say that I will be flipping back and forth between channels tomorrow night; hoping to see the start of something amazing from both companies. I’m pretty sure I’ll be disappointed and go back to just checking results for both companies on the internet, but its worth a shot.
