After numerous delays, the SF:WWE finally arrived at the house today. I took a quick glance through it and it seems pretty cool. Everything you wanted to know about your favorite or least liked Street Fighter character is in the book and covered quite well. I’m thinking about doing a video review about it, but we’ll have to see if the book impresses me enough to do so. You can get yours at Amazon.com.

Am I angry about finding the Freedom EP on torrent sites? Not in the slightest, in fact; I find it amusing to see my music on these sites. I’ve always been about sharing things and I feel that doing this will just push the popularity of the single even more. I did the very same thing with my album Ergo and the amount of downloads I got from people in China and Russia was amazing.

If you download and truly enjoy the music, you can always buy an official copy and support my future music projects. You can find the EP as well as many of my other releases on iTunes and Amazon as well as many other digital retailers.

For those of you who bought the EP while the label was still running, I truly appreciate it!

I decided shortly after my annoucment of my label’s closure that I was going to go ahead and share what was suppose to be my new single for my fans. Legally, I can’t talk in-depth about the situation, but the result of the label closing is due to lack of sample clearance with another release (Not one of mine.) The copyright holders of the sample in question are seeking money for damages and the amount easily puts Something Else in the red.

In other words: Game Over.

Let this be a lesson to potential musicians or indie labels looking to put out a release with samples in it: Artists, ALWAYS get permission. Labels: GET THE PERMISSION AGAIN! Don’t gamble your money and your reputation, because eventually they will find you and you will pay.

Regardless of the outcome, I do want to thank Scott Taiden for signing me to the label in the first place. You and the rest of the crew did a amazing job promoting the Freedom EP and taking care of the fees involved. I wish you guys the best of luck with everything.

So where does that leave Unleaded Logic? Its time to refocus and see what the next logical step should be…

Have you been experiencing lots of errors when trying to upload your video to YouTube? Does your internet modem disconnect when youre uploading to YouTube and cause your videos to error out when uploading? I was experiencing these errors as well. I would upload a video 8 times and never get it to upload because my modem would disconnect. Using a few tools I was able to get it fixed. Watch this video if you are running into the same thing! This is especially handy if you have a Comcast connection.
